This site is dedicated to preserving the memory of the brave confederate soldiers of Baxter's Company Tennessee Light Artillery (2nd Organization) Most of the original recruits were from southern Dickson and west Williamson Counties in Tennessee, with a few men from surrounding counties. Later recruits were added in East Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
These men fought at Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge and Atlanta. They were captured and paroled in Macon, GA in April 1865.
